Description
■Features:
Waen®UV451 is an epoxy adhesive with delayed cure properties. The formula is based on solvent-free modified epoxy one-component products, designed mainly for the bonding of opaque carriers and backlit parts of materials, and can be cured naturally at room temperature or heated for a short time at 60°C after bonding. It has high bonding strength on PC, PA, PBT, metal and other materials.
■Curing parameters:
UVA light source (320nm-420nm)
UVA@ 365nm, cure energy 3000mJ/cm² (typical bonding requirements)
The test cures by setting the curing time and curing strength of the series, and then measures the changes in the properties of the glue after curing, such as adhesion and hardness, and can also be tracked by Fourier infrared change spectroscopy (FTIR). When the energy is increased, the performance of the adhesive after curing is no longer improved, it indicates that it has been completely cured.
Dispensing thickness: 1.0mm
2500mJ/cm² delay time 2 minutes
1200mJ/cm² delay time 5 minutes
Heat at 60°C for 2 minutes to reach bonding strength
