Chip encapsulated conductive glue, strain sensor is a device that can convert mechanical deformation information into electrical signal output such as resistance or capacitance. In 1885, British physicist Kelvin discovered that when a metal is mechanically deformed after being subjected to pressure (tension or torsion), its resistance value also undergoes a characteristic change, called the strain-resistance effect. Inspired by this, people obtain the characteristics and magnitude of the force on the material from the change of resistance value, so as to manufacture the so-called strain sensor, mainly including pressure strain sensor and tensile strain sensor. At present, metals, metal alloys and semiconductor materials with piezoresistive effect have become the main sensitive materials for the sensitive unit of strain gauge sensors and are widely used. With the rapid development of science and technology, the mechanical measurement of complex structures in the fields of biomedical testing, rehabilitation medicine, intelligent robots, wearable devices and other fields requires not only good strain resistance, but also excellent flexibility. Due to the limitation of the modulus of elasticity of metals, metal alloys and semiconductor materials, metal or semiconductor resistance strain sensors have the following disadvantages: poor flexibility, small mechanical quantity change, complex structure, and high manufacturing cost. Therefore, the application of traditional metal or semiconductor resistance strain sensors in these fields is limited and cannot meet the requirements of current scientific and technological developments. Therefore, the development of a new strain gauge sensor with excellent flexibility to meet the requirements of sensor flexibility in new fields has become an urgent requirement for current technology and application development.
